A Sunken Ship Irony is an acoustic project by Jay Jay Toybox. The "sunken ship" is
a metaphor for rough times, and the irony is that the bad times are actually the good
times, for these are the times God lifts us up and we mature spiritually. The theme
behind A Sunken Ship Irony is simply praising God in times of hardship.

My mission is as follows:
To share Christ's love and spread the Word in a non-traditional manner, in a language
unsaved people can relate to, and hopefully in a unique style which will grab the
attention of the listener. To encorage people to seek the deeper meaning in some of the
more subtle lyrics, pointing them towards scripture in which the answers can be found. To
confess to the world that we Christains aren't perfect, without embracing that imperfection
or giving in to complacency or mediocrity. To apologize for the actions of those who call
themselves Christians and don't live accordingly, with the hope of healing the emotional
wounds left by spiritual abuse. To share hope, that those with animosity towards God might
see things with clarity, reconsider and open up their hearts.
